‘Siyakha’, pronounced “see-YAH-kha”, is used in both the Xhosa and Zulu languages. When translated, ‘Siyakha’ means ‘building together’. This choice was no coincidence when the founders of Express Siyakha wanted to name their business.
The name not only reflects the Ubuntu philosophy prevalent in African culture, as it speaks to a culture of connected development, but also to the foundational inspiration of this joint venture.
As multi-trade services company, Express Siyakha, is built around a simple idea: that communities are strongest when everyone has a stake in building them.
Founded by Valencia Braaf, Express Siyakha brings together a network of vetted, skilled tradespeople and strategic partners under a single, accountable brand. It is a 100% Black female-owned, B-BBEE Level 1 Contributor, positioned to support the procurement and transformation objectives of public and private sector clients alike.

Initially, Express Marketing was given the task of creating a logo, which then extended to creating the company’s corporate collateral.
As the business grows, Express Marketing Solutions looks forward to further developing its corporate identity.
